POP and IMAP are two protocols that mail programs use to access mail stored on remote computers. IMAP works by keeping mail on the server. POP works by downloading your mail to your computer. The only way to remove the attachment on the server is to move the message to a local folder (one under the 'on my computer' hierarchy), remove the attachment then copy the message back to the exchange server. For messages in folders "On My Computer" for your POP account. Select all messages and under Message in the Menu bar (Entourage 2008..not sure where this is in 2004) select "remove attachments." You can do a custom view for all messages to make this easier. -- Diane -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
