I have the same issue. I thought it was due to using "delegation" (someone
helps me with my calendar), but I can't really be sure. Would love to find out
if you find a solution.

Subject: Invitations Oddness

I am using Entourage 2004 (all updates) on Mac OS 10.4.11.

Behavior using invitations seems strange. I have received a number of
invitations to meetings, but the Entourage message window does not show the
Info Bar to "Accept/Decline/Tentative".

I have sent myself meeting invitations from Mail.app to Entourage, with the
same result.

I have sent myself meeting invitations from Outlook (running in Parallels),
with the same result. The Outlook invitations show up with an attachment
called <winmail.dat>. The standard Mac decoder for .dat files is TNEF's
Enough.app, but it can not do anything with that attachment.

What's the proper way of sending and receiving invitations from/to
Entourage? What invokes the Info Bar in Entourage? Why doesn't Entourage
recognize meeting invitations from iCal sent from Mail.app?

Thanks.
