Jess I am sure the owners wouldn't mind letting someone measure the volume of the tree. I am not capable of doing it, but I could assist as a ground guy.
The Black Gums in Bear Swamp NJ are not quite as fat, but they are twenty feet taller. They may be in the running also. From memory, they were 12 x 90. These trees were cross dated to be 450 years old. The Gum I recently presente is about 280 years old.
