They are some awesome pics. While you frequently see exposed roots on
wetland and aquatic trees when the water is down, it is a treat to
come across those trees on upland sites where the roots are laid bare
for one reason or another. I am amazed at the roots I see spanning
rocks when I head to the mountains and try to imagine how each
particular instance occured.
