Bummer to learn about the serial tree killer; who needs these thoughts... A hiker friend and I had just decided about a week or so ago to go to NYC for the heck of it and find this park -- hoping the cave really is there, the cave being one of the main scenes of a fav flick, "The Caveman's Valentine" (an interesting thriller, IMHO). When I do go, I'll try to envision the park as if the serial tree killer hadn't done the bad deeds... Michele
