One of my sisters lives within a mile of the park in Washington Heights, and I've walked by the edges a couple of times while there, but never had the time to go in. I'm determined the next time I go visit to get in there and measure, some of the tuliptrees actually look pretty tall (from afar). By the way, I think someone here linked to an article recently that talked about someone randomly killing trees in the park. Mike
