I was curious if you ever got to see this famous, landmarked tree in Flushing. 
It was on my list of things to see when I would finally get to NYC, but then I 
read that it died in 1998, so I missed out. It had been planted in 1847, and is 
the parent tree of all Weeping Beeches in the country, or so I've read.
