Will-
I always liked LAME for Lake Mead NP (actually I think it's a national rec
area), but the LAME superintendent is said to be tired of it...;>)

Barry-

Within the National Park Service, the naming convention for MOST of the Parks
is a four letter acronym that consists of the first four letters of one word
name Parks (YOSEmite), and the first two letters of each of two or more
word-named Parks (SEquoia-KIngs, GRand CAnyon, etc.).

  Barry,

GReat SMokies used to refer to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

What in the world is GRSM? I've been wracking my
brains for 3 days trying to figure it out. Nothing I can think of fits
    those letters. Great Smoky
      Mountains National Park
comes close, but that would be GSMNP. So what is it?

Of course those are awesome trees, and it's great
to see the pictures and read about how big they are.

    Thanks.
