Jenny, it really is a nice park-I had forgotten how nice it was.
George, the park is about 1000 acres, and has a very rich species
content--red, white, & black oaks; magnolia; hackberry; sugar, red, and
silver maples; black walnut and butternut; pignut and bitternut hickories;
sycamore; cottonwood and basswood all achieve canopy height, so a RI will be
easy to record.
Randy, the tallest tulips were in the 2'-3' diameter range--if I can break
150 here' in N Ohio, I'd be very happy.
Barry, I hope I'll get to New Jersey to see your area--it sounds really
neat.
