It is funny that you chose that little tulip to photograph.  I
recently gave that little guy his "number" and had him put on the
accession list.  The section gardener found it growing nearby and
transplanted it to that spot where we lost a big oak.  Now just think
that I measured every tree in Pierce's woods around that little guy
this past winter!!  what a chore.

If there was a cell phone sign by the big tulip and an american holly
growing right at the base, that is the correct tree.

Be sure to visit Winterthur and Mt Cuba when you have time.  Tyler
Arboretum in Lima, about a half an hour north on rte one is worth a
visit too.
