    Your questions haven't gone unnoticed. I see that Will Fell provided the 
first input on tulip poplar growth. Thanks Will. I'll provide some insights on 
tulip poplar growth compared to white pine for central and southern New 
England. Gary Beluzo may have some insights also. Gary is doing a major study 
on tulip polar distribution. I'm helping gather data. We have plenty, but 
drawing conclusions on growth potential will be risky. However, I've been known 
to rush in where wiser heads stay out. I'll get my comments to you in a couple 
of days. Monica and I just got back from our extended trip to the West and 
we're pooped, behind on everything, and our heads are still swimming with 
images from our trip - images of sand dunes and Hogg Heaven. Heck of a 
combination.
