Hi Don, I'll get on that, starting tomorrow. Sounds good. Barry --- On Wed, 7/29/09, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote:

You certainly could use the materials you've posted so far, if you've kept copies of them--your prolific postings would certainly fill an issue... As someone who has frequently posted on cool old stunted post oaks, junipers, and even pines in the southern Great Plains, I have no bias against "little trees"! Don p.s.: Please send it directly to my personal email ([email protected]) rather than posting to the ENTS list as a whole... -----Original Message----- From: Barry Caselli <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, Jul 28, 2009 12:33 pm Subject: [ENTS] Re: My posts on this forum Hi Scott, I do remember you asking something about these trees. Unfortunately before you posted, I never heard of "Penn Charter Trees". The ones in the pictures look positively awesome. In the past I may have given you a quick answer with the intention of saying more later, but forgot. That's mostly likely what happened. I love big trees, and would love to see some more. Let me know of some, and I'll see how close they are to me. Until I get my car fixed, I most likely won't drive more than 20 or 25 miles in one direction though. The truck just leaks way too much oil and power steering fluid for me to drive as much as I want to. Anyway, let me know some locations and I'll check on them. I have replied to some of your posts in the past, hoping to start a conversation about the Penn Charter trees of NJ, and maybe direct you to some of them to help me document them, but I haven't heard back from you. If you are interested in visiting some of these big old trees let me know. I have the directions for alot of them, and you may already know where some of them are.
