It is a tough call.  Look at the brilliant report Will wrote of his work in the 
Whitikaer Forest of California (at least part two was published this month).  
There is Dale teaching teachers about Old Growth for the next generation, There 
are more big live oaks by Live Oak Larry, being only 10 inches that is pretty 
impressive for him.  Barry has posted more reports and videos of the Pine 
Barrens. Thee are your own exploits in Massachusetts.  So there are many 
candidates.  If it is Tree Dude of the Month - then this has all happened since 
August 1, and this is only the 10th.  There is time for others to take the 
prize, be they a dude or a dudette.
