Note the huge gap in the last picture where the wires run through.
That's a lot of pruning over the years! That reminds me of all the
disfigured trees I've seen butchered by power companies who used to
simply have their tree crews shear the right of way with little regard
to proper pruning. Of course trees should not be planted near power
lines that will interfere with them at maturity. This live oak looks OK.
Live oaks can sure dominate an area!
