I have seen and heard the same. The old trees are located on the summit within
the observation area. I have heard estimates of 400 years by the park service.
It is worth a stop if you are in the Atlanta area.

Subject: [ENTS] Stone Mountain Georgia

I have a friend who has been told (I've heard the same) that there are
some extremely old cedar trees growing on Stone Mountain in Georgia
(Stone Mountain Park). Any idea if this is true, how old these stands
are, and where they're located on the mountain?
