Gary, I've heard from Ed Cook, a dendrochronologist who could probably answer you question better than anyone, that the longest lived angiosperm for which there are good ages is silver beech (Nothofagus menziesii) in New Zealand. Ages for them approach 900 years. Some other species like baobab or a tropical species could be older, but their are no definite ages.
