Chris Dan Sperduto of NH Natural Heritage Program discovered it and dated it. He is the one to contact. I haven't had any contact with him in years. Maybe you can contact him. I last saw Dan at the Old Growth conference that we held in New Hampshire in 2004. When it was cored it was determined to be 679 years old. That was at least 5 years ago. Giving it a couple of year to reach core height, today it is about 686 years old.
