Regarding Der Freichutz, I was thinking that for the ENTS version of the 
opera, we would change the standard for marrying the king's daughter 
from skills as a marskman and amount of game shot to how accurately tree 
height can be measured. But then the name of the opera would also have 
to be changed.

The only time I have been to a Walmart was during last October's ENTS 
meeting in Cook Forest PA. I had to go there because Walmart had the 
only pharmacy open on a Saturday morning where I could get a 
prescription filled to treat Lyme Disease. I had to go into town for 
that and missed Bob's presentation on how to measure tree height, so now 
I am already at a disadvantage in the competition for the king's daughter.

Yes, I am going to Hansel and Gretel, its part of my subscription series 
to the Minnesota Orchestra. Although they mostly do orchestral works, 
they also do one or two operas each season.
