ENTS, especially Barry,

I just got my latest ACF newsletter and their was a member profile of Tony
Rosati (who may be an ENT himself for all I know). Tony lives in
Middletown, NJ and has found many surviving chestnuts in Monmouth County,
including 3 larger than 18² DBH and 75-90¹ high. He volunteers with the PA
chapter of ACF (maybe there is no NJ chapter). Those chestnuts would be
worth a trip to see.

Subject: [ENTS] Chestnut tree found

ENTS,
About a week ago I put up a 4-part video series on my Youtube account of a
hike down a dirt road and trail nearby. I announced it to the group and got
no response. In part 1 of the series, I came upon a Chestnut tree and asked
for help in identifying it. I would think that if anyone watched the videos,
that the chestnut tree would have been brought up for discussion. But I
guess not. Anyway, can any of you tell my looking at the leaves and bark
whether a Chestnut is a Chinese or American? That's what I asked while I was
filming. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/user/MillerMeteor74
I enjoy other people's posts and I say so after I read them.

Thanks,
Barry
