No, I'm not here to disparage the MidWest-I'm here to protect the
MidWest--actually I love the topography here; you don't know it's there,
until you start putting on your brakes, going down a steep valley. The hills
aren't visible until you're on the bottom, looking up. But I think where I
am has more of an affinity to the East, since it's on the Appalachian
Plateau, both geologically and botanically. The only "caves" here are slump
cavities from sandstone cliffs.  All the real caves in Ohio are to the west,
in limestone country, and of course more so in IN and KY.
