Why City Island and Broad Channel? I know them both and though I have
nothing against either, they would not be on my list for a tour for an
out-of-towner.

I'm interested in NYC for a few reasons.
First, I have a rough list of buildings I want to see and photograph, many
in Manhattan, but several in other boroughs as well. Then there are the
parks and museums. I want to see that park in the north of Manhattan that I
told you (Jenny) about several months ago. Now I forget the name of it. It's
the one with old-growth forest in it. There's also the Queens County Farm
Museum. I also want to see City Island and Broad Channel, and the Jamaica
Bay Wildlife Refuge. (See the "You'd never believe you were in New York
City" section of the Forgotten New York website.)

I also want to go out to Suffolk County, to the Long Island Pine Barrens,
which are a small version of what I have here.

But my interests in New York City range from the architecture, to the
history, to the bridges, to the mass transit (subways, taxis and busses)
