Wow what an awesome place. I know many of you have been there before but this was my first time. I only stayed an hour or so but still enjoyed every minute of the visit. The only tree I accurately measured was the State Co-Champion Burr Oak. I got CBH-18' 2", Height-132.39' and Spread-78' x 98.5'. A very impressive Oak and the largest of its kind that I've ever seen. I will return there in the future for a more lenghtly stay, I saw some Black Willow to over 100', and did notice the storms had blown the tops out of most of Forest. However, I think this place will in the future produce some record heights and may have some surprises if a detailed study was done. Some photos of the Burr Oak.
