Ed,  Thanks for posting that!  I wish they would create more scenic
areas!  The Deep South has little to no Old Growth, thanks to the
Timber Companies of yesteryear. However, it did boost much of the
Economic growth of the United States and the World at the time. I
understand their reasoning back then, but not in the present. The
second growth has been poorly managed by the Forest Service,
throughout the years and we have few scenic areas. I'm not taking a
shot at them, It just bugs me. Such places like the Grandfather Mt.,
are rare and they are lucky to have it!  Larry
