Bob,

I never got the impression the site was old-growth. Neil Pedersen (or
colleague) has cored in there and they are less than 200 if I recall
correctly. I would consider it mature second-growth.

      I think the tulips in the lower areas and closer to the estate  
are between 160 and 200. In the old growth area probably a little  
older. Will and Jess, what is your judgment?
