I am calling your attention to the CALL FOR ABSTRACTS for papers for the
Internet Conference on Material Flow Analysis of Integrated Bio-Systems
(IC-MFA-IBS) that I just posted to the Ecotechnology Announcement mailing
list (ET-ANN) which has about 6000 subscribers. In the next few days, the
announcement will be distributed to other mailing lists. If you have not
received a copy please check http://segate.sunet.se/archives/et-ann.html or
email [EMAIL PROTECTED] and write the message:

To those of you who have on-going IBS projects, I hope that you will make a
special effort to consider presenting a paper. Conceptual paper to present
a problem or a proposal are also welcomed. The instructions for writing a
paper is being prepared. A paper could be between 4-10 pages long with a
text of 1500-4000 words, it should have at least one diagram to show the
quantitative material flow and as many pictures as possible if available.
There are significantly more work done in the themes # 1 to # 5 than in # 6
to # 11 (see below), so I hope you can help identify people who may be able
to present papers in the latter themes. If you could forward the
announcement to 5 of your friends esp. those working in themes # 6 to # 11,
I think it would help tremendously. Also if you have published papers on
any of these themes, please send me a copy (address: Arvikagatan 26, 12343
Farsta, Sweden).
In the 1998 ICIBS, the Research Institute for Subtropics (Japan) funded
authors and groups of participants (150 US$ each) from developing
countries. Every positive results were obtained because of this funding and
so I hope that we will find funds to do the same again. Any suggestions on
potential sponsors are most welcomed.
