I watch the show and enjoy it, although I wish they'd deal more with technique tips. I use a few EOS models. I too, don't like the fact that they do not show the 45 points of focus. If that's state of the art, why leave it out? In bright conditions, I use the center point only and then recompose (eye control fails me there). Eye control and 45 (or fewer) points is fine at times. However, I don't think eye control is great in all conditions with 45 points. Eye control works beautifully on my Elan IIe with the fewer but larger points. Maybe that's why Canon shows the screen they do?
