I've only seen the show a few times, but I'm sure all us would-be pro
photographers like to know what the real pros use. I was happy with glee
when I saw one of the guys pull out my EOS 3, I ran and got my wife and
showed her, and she looked at me like I just lost my marbles, but I was very
excited to see that. I agree that more tips would make me a very happy
camper but I would like to see an 1-hour format show even more!

I had to chuckle when I read your post. One of the things that always drives
me nuts on Photo Safari is trying to identify which L-series super telephoto
they are using. Since I'm not rich enough to OWN any of the big super
telephotos I don't have any exposure to the real thing. :-)

I noticed that each lens actually has a unique profile if you know what to
look for. What we need is a silhouette chart similar to those used during
WW-II for identifying enemy aircraft. An alternative is to use the Canon
catalog.
