Ummm, is EOS 1N even a "metal body"? Ok, I could be very wrong here, but
isn't it as plastic as EOS 3? And if so, then I think that the EOS 1N has
proved to be durable enough and therefore EOS 3 should be as good. (I'm
not sure about the body of EOS 1N, but I'm sure that Canon claims EOS 3 to
be as strong and as sealed as EOS 1N...)

Oh, about the underexposure... I have one of the first EOS 3's ever landed
to Finland. I've once heard a rumour on this list that Canon would have
somehow indicated which bodies were affected (actually which are not)...
my camera is one of the early bodies that were not classified as not
having the problem. So it might have it, but I don't really think so... or
else, my EOS 50e also underexposes as much, so I can not see it. :-)

Bye,
        Hugo.
