Hi Michael, Congratulations on a fine purchase!!! I have never owned a EOS 3 (currently own a 1v and 30), but wondering if the brand new EOS 3s have the problem fixed? Im going to Hong Kong in March to buy my EOS 3 but just want to know if they have the problem fixed? Does anyone know of any trustworthy dealers in Hong Kong? I dont mind buying Grey equipment as Canon Australia accepts International reciepts as proof of purchase.
Thanks, Ethan *** Michael Wrote *** I just received my new 8-month used EOS 3 this morning. I've heard some of the original EOS 3s had underexposure problems. How do I check my camera? Are there certain serial numbers? Is there anything else noteworthy I should be aware of? I'll run my usual new camera slide tests. I've been using and will also continue to use the Elan 7. The controls of the EOS 3 are a little different. My only complaint is there's a little too much press two buttons and turn the dial, but still simple and I'm certainly adaptable. Otherwise, it's a nice camera and will work well for what I'm intending to use it for. Michael Privacy: ACNielsen collects personal information to provide and market our services.
