Ricky - No, not really. I do find it a bit too big and heavy to handle, especially with my 75-300 IS lens (which I hear is not considered "big" in the lens world). With the 50 f1.4, it's still a bit heavier than I would have liked. I especially feel the weight when I'm carrying everything in my little Domke. But it's bearable and I've hiked with it without issue.
