I'm not sure if that's what he mant to say.

All objects that we consider black do reflect some light. Comletely black
objects only exist in theory (or perhaps in the space in the black holes).

PS. ( a joke ) We all know how much stuff can go into ladies hanbags? I have
therefore solved the mystery of the black holes: they are ladies' hanbags
thrown into the space.
