Nokia 6210 can do 43.2 kbps with HSCSD (which is already available here in
Finland at least). Also GPRS is just around the corner... operators are
trying to get it enabled even before the end of the year, and first phones
should be arriving at the same time (beginning of next year at the
latest). The speed of GPRS is still a bit unknown (well afaik it depends
on other trafic), but you could be getting something like 100 kbps. That's
here almost tomorrow :-) (Personally I'm quite pessimistic about
the available speed in the beginning)

I don't think one need's to send very often 20 high resolution pictures to
press (you're not sending these to yourself of relatives) - or don't the
photographer deside on the best photos anymore?
