You can find what Canon has to say about the two lenses at their Canon
Camera Museum site
http://www.canon.com/camera-museum/camera/lens/f_lens.html . Also, this is
a good general reference site for bodies and lenses, specs, year of
manufacture, etc. In terms of hands-on use of the two lenses, perhaps
someone else has that experience and can discuss some of the differences
they've noted...there doesn't seem to be all that many changes in V-I and II
however.
