Hi Gerard,

Great point about FEL. I have been looking forward to trying E-TTL and
FEL in particular since deciding that E-TTL is not just another Canon
gimmick (like the self-timer music, or the SF soft-focus double exposure
mode on my 1000FN :-)

Will the 16s timeout occur if you hold down the FEL button?
Can you fire the shutter while depressing the FEL button?

If so, then I might be able to rig up an FEL-lock switch on the BP-300
(if and when the backorder is filled :-(
