The Canon 65mm f/2.8 1-5x is not your typical "infinity to 1:1" macro lens.
The furthest working distance you'll have is 3.9" and the weight 31 oz.
If you want a more traditional lens with 1:1 capability, consider Canon's
100/2.8 EF or newer 100/2.8 USM EF, or something similar from Sigma or Tamron.
