JL> Hello Dieter,
JL> Thanks for the link. How exciting! Seems the B.I.G. is a new lens not
JL> listed at WJM's site:
JL> http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/shiflist.htm
JL> Who is the lens manufacturer?
JL> Does it have auto-aperture? Auto-focussing? Both?
JL> Does it have electronics to support TTL metering?
JL> Or will it lock up your EOS camera?
Hello Julian,
The optics are from the russian company "Arsenal" which also produces the
"Kiev"-products. The mechanics are from former Kiev-employees who left to
form an own company. It is available for Canon EOS, Canon FD, Minolta,
Minolta MD, Nikon, Nikon MF, Contax/Yashica, Leica R, Pentax K, M42.
Unfortunately there isn't more information neither on the Brenner-site nor
in the fotomagazin, which tested it, concerning auto-aperture,
auto-focussing or TTL. But I try to find out since I'm planning to get one
as soon as I have the money for it (in january or february).
