Hi list,
I bought EF300/4L lens couple days ago and after careful inspection of the
glass I noticed a layer of extremely fine dust on one of the elements. It
also could be a rest of the cleaning before the lens assembly, because it
might resemble a cleaning liquid which was not properly polished. Well,
perhaps this does not affect the quality of the picture, but it bother me
slightly, since I expected that "L" stands for luxury.
Does anyone have similar problem?
Does Canon warranty cover the lens cleaning? If not, any idea how much
this would cost me?
