Search the archives... in a nutshell, Outdoor
Photography magazine, mistakenly or otherwise,
annouced the existence and printed a picture of the
Elan 7/7e *before* Canon made its official
announcement about the camera!
Lot of buildup and anticipation on this model. ;-)
