The OA-2 will certainly prevent the 380EX from working in E-TTL mode (I
have an OA-2, and it has this effect on my 380EX). However, I'm not sure
whether what you effectively get is TTL or A-TTL. Both TTL and A-TTL
involve metering off the film plane, but A-TTL uses a pre-flash.
