I find that I will have a 12 hour layover in Singapore. Thought I would do
some shopping. I have heard mixed comments on about getting Canon gear at a
"good" price in Singapore. Some say the price is great. 30% of what I
would pay mail order. Others say there are no great bargains.... Except for
film. It is reported a "good" deal.
Specifically, I am looking for an 85mm lens.
Anyone have any experience? Good / Bad. What percentage less was the price
(compared to say... B&H) ?

trip to South Africa. The Singapore layover is on the way to SA.
