Do you know if the additional buttons (e.g. shutter, *) in PB-E2 have one pin each in the connector between the booster and EOS-3 camera body or is the communication done with some more advanced (serial) interface between processors? I quess there is a processor inside the Booster ? IF there were separate pins for each control then I could try to make my own controls into BPack-E1. On phone the local Canon didn't/couldn't say. They might show me the schematics (whatever they have) though.
