Dear All, First of all, I would like to thank you all for your patience, some of you may not even remember, and those of you who are new to the list will not know, that prompted by the EOS list and the EOS-3 List I registered http://www.eosclub.com/ 18 months ago. The idea behind setting up the EOS Club, was for like minded photographers to share their photographs, and their creative criticism with each other, unlike other photo sites who often feature comments like "what a cute cat" or "what a nice landscape", the idea is to help each other take even better photos, by making suggestions such as cropping, or lighting or change of angle etc.. I am sure you all know what I mean. Unfortunately, over the last year, I have had too much on my plate to do any real development on the site, until now ! I am hoping to re-launch the site in February, all photographs will be viewable by everyone, but only registered members will be able to add their own, or add comments, this way, I can ensure we keep a high level of comments, and filter out those who like the cat comment above ;-) Membership As I have just mentioned, to use the site everyone will need to be a member, this will always be free. To become a founder member (to have a little star next to your name or something ;-) ) I am creating an XML format for people to send me their details, this will enable me to create all the accounts automatically. Thanks for all your support, and I hope you like the site ! Before any of you send this information to me, I am first looking for your suggestions of any other information about each other that you think would be useful / interesting. Please send your suggestion ASAP and I will then create a final version of the XML format and send it out to everyone to complete (if you want to of course!). Hopefully, this should be self explanatory, even for those of you with no XML experience, you can create as many "item" lines as you like, eg. CAMERA , FLASH, LENS etc ..
