Having got one of these for Xmas I discovered that the instructions were all
in German.

I've managed to work out that it is explaining all about the effects of converters
shutting down AF as previously discussed on this list, don't use the converter
with lenses less than 28mm (I think it says due to optical problems) and that
there are AF problems with the 50 and 100 mm macro lenses.

Is there anything else in there that I ought to know?

I got the first roll of film that I have used it on back yesterday. Even stacking
it with a Sigma 1.4x EX on a Sigma 70-200 2.8 to get a 600 mm f8 resolution
appears to be limited by film grain rather than the lens (Kodachrome 64 viewed
with an 8x loupe).

It also converts an EF 50 1.8 to a nice length for a portrait lens but I haven't got
any
prints back from that combination yet.
