Hi Janis,
I upgraded from EOS 1000FN (Rebel SII equivalent) to Elan 7E
when I found that I was becoming limited by the camera,
especially with autofocus, fps, mirror lockup, remote release,
flash system, etc.
What have you found limiting on the EOS 50 that you wish to
considering upgrading?
The EOS 30 has very similar specifications to the EOS 50.
There is little that the EOS 30 can do that the EOS 50
cannot do.
