As the one who got volunteered to be FAQ maintainer, I feel somewhat
responsible for your plight, except that I can only try to keep up
with whatever software and mail filtering changes that WJM makes.
Like the follow-focus on my EOS 1000FN, this is not very effective.
The goalposts keep moving. WJM has mentioned that he will change
the List software to majordomo2 soon, and there will no doubt be
further changes.

There is a suggestion box (it's *very* slow) where you can send
me tips on what you would like to store in the FAQ.
I agree with you that this List could be a lot simpler. But it's
WJM's List, and he can make it as complicated as he wants.
