My Elan IIe's ECF is very reliable, I think results vary from individual, or
one camera body to another.
The Elan 7e has a shiny (almost slippery) black finish. I liked the matte
finish of the IIe, although I would agree black is a preferred color.
The 7e is too small to be a real camera.
The 7e grip is cheaper, but did you notice that extra $150 you paid for the
body?
And that white light.....ugh!
By fixing the flash did you mean that the 7e's built0in flash is E-TTL?
I've already decided to buy a second EOS 3 if/when I get rid of my IIe.
