Never tried it with zooms: would expect it makes lighting the subject
difficult. That, and shading the rear (now front) element becomes a
problem even with the 50 reversed.

Here is just such a beast: my 100 mounted on some cheap Russian
bellows (30 dollars from Camera fair). This gives 30 cm extension
(US=1 foot) and I've not even shown the doubler yet ;o)
