I think you would be very pleased with the results you get from a 28-135 IS
lens. With just a very few exceptions, I believe those who own this lens
enjoy it for it's nice optics, pretty good zoom range and the IS function
that gives you an advantage (varying degrees) in low-light situations. It
may overlap some with your 75-300, but I'd guess the 28-135 IS would be the
lens you have on your EOS 300 most of the time.
