Pretty cool. After PMA 2000 (exactly one year ago) I wrote: Nikon showed a prototype of a semi-wireless hookup for the D1. They had a D1 attached via FireWire to a Sony Vaio laptop. The laptop had a Lucent WaveLAN card which sent the image across the room to a computer equipped with Nikon Capture software. When perfected, this will let studio users and others capture very large files or large quantities of smaller files without worrying about the size of the Compact Flash card in the camera. -- regards, Henry Posner Director of Sales and Training B&H Photo-Video, and Pro-Audio Inc. http://www.bhphotovideo.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
