Just found something kind of interesting that may be of some use to
others. Yesterday I was switching back and forth between slide and
print film, and had set C.Fn.2 to leave leader on rerwind for that
reason. Today I finished off one of the rolls and hit rewind
forgetting to reset CF2 for complete rewind. I opened the back, said
"oops" and closed it again. Now the film advanced as though it was
loading again and the film indicator was flashing and I could not get
into the CF menu. After trying a few different things I said "oh
well" and hit the midroll rewind. It spooled all the way back into
the canister.
It may describe this somewhere in the manuals, but if not, it's an
easier work-around IMO than changing the CF back and forth a lot on a
day that you want to change films frequently.
